Consumer perceptions towards healthier meat products are now mainly associated with how is produced and processed; the physical chemical composition; nutritional quality; sensory properties, social, ethic, or religious aspects. The main purpose of this condensed review was to summarise most recent studies on consumer contribute a better knowledge social awareness about healthiness by disseminating available information.
